Anton Sorkin

Attorney

Anton Sorkin is a litigator at Giles Law. His practice focuses on commercial and civil disputes, including matters involving contracts, real estate, probate, and other complex issues. He has experience taking and defending depositions, briefing and arguing contested motions, appearing at hearings, and working on cases through trial and resolution.

Before entering private practice, Anton served as a judicial clerk to the Honorable James B. Morse Jr. of the Arizona Court of Appeals. There, he worked on complex civil appeals involving commercial disputes, medical malpractice, product liability, employment matters, and a wide range of other legal issues. The experience still shapes the way he approaches cases, with an eye toward what will ultimately matter to the court and how an argument will hold up beyond the immediate dispute.

Anton’s background also includes substantial business and transactional work. He has worked on commercial contracts, financing, corporate and regulatory matters, land-use issues, and transactions involving companies and projects across multiple jurisdictions. His experience includes legal and business matters tied to the expansion of semiconductor manufacturing in the Phoenix area, including financing, government incentives, commercial agreements, and operational issues. Earlier work in banking, consulting, and in-house roles also gives Anton a business perspective that he brings to both disputes and transactions.

Anton earned his J.D. from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University and his B.S. in Finance from NYU Stern. He is fluent in Russian and is committed to pro bono work, including immigration matters.

Outside the office, Anton enjoys aviation, poker, travel, and trying new cuisines.
